Hanging Reminds Us of Islamic State Barbarism

The execution of Mumbai serial blasts conspirator Yakub Memon has generated more heat than settling the dust. It has again revived the debate over utility of capital punishment.  For, one thing, the brother of dreaded Mumbai underworld mafia Tiger Memon, is at the center stage of  being hanged for "less crime". He is believed to be the part of the gang  that planned the blasts in the aftermath of Babri Masjid demolition by saffron brigade led by Lal Krishan Advani.  The main conspirators, Tiger Memon and Dawood Abrahim, both are fugitive. They have fled the country soon after the Mumbai Blasts in 1993 never to return India. Since, police couldn't lay hands on Tiger and Dawood,  Yakub turned out to be a big catch, He was used as a cover up by Indian police  for Dawood and Tiger Memon. The arrest of  Yakub Khan was shown at Delhi railway station  whereas he  surrendered to Kathmandu police at  Airport in July 1994 and then deported to India in a secret mission, writes eminent journalist S Hussain Zaidi. Interestingly,  Zaidi's claim hasn't been contradicted by Indian authorities. Zaidi says Yakub Memon is the biggest loser in the trial despite the fact that he (Memon) lend so much credence to the evidence on which court decided  the case. A day before his execution, TV Today, the leading news channel relayed  Yakub's interview with the channel. In the interview, Yakub came out with some startling revelations and one of it was that he never traveled to Delhi on his own and never saw Delhi railway station . He was rather brought in to Indian capital by cops. This strengthens Mr. Zaidi's version that Yakub wasn't arrested in Delhi. As a corollary to this, It is natural to believe that Yakub was so tortured by police as to make him confess what cops wanted. The Yakub Memon trail also brings to fore the "motivated' investigation in India. The "corrupt' and highly political  subservient police in India is hardly believed to be an independent probing agency. One may agree with Zaidi or not, but hanging a human being, how hard criminal he might be, tantamount to sate terrorism. No civilized society can allow this. How cruel it is and the act reminds us of Islamic State barbarism, By hanging aren't we doing the same ct, the dread ISIS men are doing in middle-east.  The motivating principle  behind execution of a human is  that capital punishment deter the criminals  and crime but the data shows the different picture. During 2000-10, only one man was executed but it didn't make ant determent on crime. There were as many as more than 33,000 crimes. Studies also show that there is no relation between death  sentence and criminal acts. A man is hardly aware of the legal implication of  the crime at the time of his act. Our legal system is also full of errors and biases. Read the contradictory ruling of division bench  on Yakub Memon Curative petition, One judge says Yakub should be hanged, another stays the execution and even points out the procedural lapses adopted by earlier bench.   No legal system in world is perfect and no harshest  punishment can deter the crimes. As a civilized society, let us do away with capital punishment.

The Death of APJ Abdul Kalam is a Great and Irreparable Loss

Tears filled my eye as I heard the sad news on sudden demise of  Indian Ex-president APJ Abdul Kalam. True to his nature, he died while delivering a lecture to students in far eastern India at Guwahari  after having a massive heart attack. Never felt so bad  in my life on hearing the news of passing of a dignitary,  except on three occasions. The death of my mother and 17 years later of my father. My father was a freedom fighter and remained a fighter till his death, He fought old age in same spirit, he fought for country's independence.  Everybody feel sad on the death of parents as  the loss is irreparable. Another occasion, I felt like weeping was the sudden death of  Baabu Lal Jee, my friend  rather than boss at Bhaskar in Chandigarh. He was a true human being and I wished  he lived longer, Deadly Cancer took him away from us. It was really shocking for me and many others of the fraternity. People like me hate our "netas' or ruling class for their deceit , double speak, dubious working and royal life style. They become sacrosanct the moment they are elected. Not bothered about their career  for India has a secure future for our "netas" in the form of pension. Never mind, crores of "Aam Aadami" lack even a bare minimum living at old age. But APJ Abdul Kalam wasn't a 'neta'. He came from an intellectual class and became first citizen of India by his acclaim. Being called a 'missile man', BJP led NDA govt chose him for President post to browbeat Congress which used to install hand-picked men on the exalted post. There is no denying that BJP had done nation a great service by installing ab icon as President. During his five-year tenure, he delivered as much, not all Presidents together could do. Those sitting on top posts should show the path to others. Country  needed the great Abdul Kalam as many more years. He was an icon for young generation and doing a yeoman's service to inculcate a sense of purpose among them. My daughter while working in a airline came face to face with him after his retirement as President of India, While traveling in the airline my daughter worked, she was awestruck and ventured to speak to him. He was so hunble and agreed to talk to her and taught her how she could change people mindset even while working in an airline for for that matter anywhere. Such was the qualities of the "missle man" He was down-to-earth, lived simple life  and became an ideal to others. His sudden death has left the country icon less. There are many leaders much older thn him and still living healthy and wealthy. But  God has his own rules. He snatches good soul much earlier than the bad ones. Pray Almighty, he lends us another great icon.

Sluggish Reforms Dampen Investors Confidence

Greece: Back to Square one

Greece is back to the square one. The debt crisis ridden country gets bailout deal  but with a heavy price. The deal is just an assurance that Greece  will get help if it abides by the EU Terms. And the fresh are harsher than those it rejected in referendum. The EU have simply agreed to open negotiations on a €86bn (£62bn) bailout – a vital step to restore confidence in the euro, but essentially an agreement to have more talks. The deal that emerged on Monday morning must pass the test of the Greek parliament, the German Bundestag and the European financial system. The EU will monitor the spending and will keep financial controls. In other words, now EU will decide how the Greek economy will be run. European creditors have agreed to release 7 billion Euros to save Greece's banks from collapse. Greek banks have been shut since 28 June and a daily limit of €60 on cash withdrawals is likely to remain in place even when they re-open. Getting new sources of funding to repay €12bn in debts falling due over the next month is Greece's urgent requirement. EU will lend  5bn euros by August. In return Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will have to pass a series laws by Wednesday to get the first instalment of bailout package. The laws cover four contentious areas:overhauling the VAT system to standardise rates and increase revenue;reforming pensions by increasing the retirement age to 67 by 2022 and cutting benefits for poorer pensioners;ensuring the Elstat statistics agency is free of political influence – a guarantee that Greece can never again fudge official statistics; anda legal mechanism that ensures automatic spending cuts if Greece deviates from creditor-mandated budget targets. A further two bills-an overhaul of the civil justice system; and transposing an EU directive on winding up filed banks into national law- must be passed by 22 July.
Its only If the Greek parliament passes these laws, eurozone finance ministers will take a decision to launch formal talks on a new €86bn bailout deal under the European Stability Mechanism, the permanent bailout fund. Eurozone countries that ratify bailouts in parliament are likely to hold votes. But Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, has said she would not recall Bundestag deputies from their holidays until she was sure Greece had made good on promises to pass reform laws.Greeks are angry with Prime Miniser as he has let them down.Greeks feel that the tough reforms agreed to by their Prime Minister condemned the country to 'misery, humiliation and slavery'. The Country Greek civil service workers have announced a 24-hour strike in the wake of bailout deal. There are reports that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras was 'crucified' during marathon overnight talks or ‘aGreekment' Whatever may be the case, but Prime Minister has badly failed in leading the country to an honourable package. The real test of the latest eurozone deal comes on Monday 20 July when Greece must repay at least €3.5bn to the European Central Bank.

Is Modi Following Dr. Manmohan Singh's Art of "Maun (Silence)"?

There is an old saying " Silence is gold". Prime Minster Narendra Modi seems to have taken a leaf out of it. Else, he must have learned, by now, that his predecessor Dr. Manmohan Singh's  art of being "Maun -silent" is the best way to ward off the criticism. Despite being active  on social media churning out dozens of tweets and Facebook posts between  public events, even when abroad, he hasn't written a single word on MP Vyapam scam or  "Lalitgate".  Unlike Dr. Singh.  Modi is a skilled orator and prolific on social media, so his studied silence looks  scandalous at a time when allegations of corruption and influence trafficking affecting his party has set other tongues wagging. Remember, how he used Hindi jargon to  to deride his reserved predecessor Manmohan Singh as "Maun Mohan". He has yet to utter a word on controversies surrounding his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  and Rajasthan's chief minister and the foreign minister Sushma Swaraj gave to cricket tycoon Lalit Modi, He hasn't even said a word on  spate of deaths linked to exam scam cheating scandal in Madhya Pradesh. He has been sharing his views with people on various issues in 'Mann ki Baat". Last time, he spoke on several  contentious issues but he  voided Latit Modi controversy. He has not said anything on Raje. His  admirers say Modi's reticence is nothing new as he has a record of  of avoiding inconvenient issues. They recall Modi as Gujarat chief minister avoided to speak on religious riots  for years. He even walked out of a television interview in 2007 after five minutes of questions about his role during riots.  It was his silence that earned him a reputation as a hardline Hindu nationalist, So far so good. Now opposition is asking,  Why is he keeping silent? The situation is getting murkier.. Who is he protecting? Modi is trying to shield certain things or protect some individuals? Why this silence,?". Coincidentally, Modi is caught in  the same situation his predecessor DR, Manmohan Singh had been. As the scam after scam had hit the UPA govt, BJP leaders targeted the then Prime Minister and tried its level best to provoke him. And now Congress is doing the same thing. H is reticence can't help him for long. Its different to be state head then country head. With so many controversies erupting within a short span, his silence may damage his reputation as an "decisive man". There can't be double standard  at the highest level.History repeats itself.  Modi's studied silence on controversial issues may earn him the apithet of "Maun Modi".

Well Done Greeks, Its a "Brave Choice"

Well  done Greeks. You have made a brave choice. By rebuffing the European leaders, you have restored the nation's ride. The bailout terms as set out by  European leaders were just "blackmailing" and an emphatic "No" has helped prime minister Alexis Tsipras ti get better from creditors.  Its as great a victory as that of Alexander the Great. He is often ranked among the world's most influential people of all time, along with his teacher Aristotl.  If Alexander became legendary as a classical hero in the mold of Achilles, the Greeks of twenty-first century will be remembered for their heroic act. Despite being running out of money , it was a too hard to reject the terms of an international bailout. But brave people don't bothers for such things. Celebrating  in the streets after vote, people are head saying " There is no money but we will be ok".  The final result in Sunday's referendum was 61.3% "No", against 38.7% who voted "Yes". However, ground realities prove more harsher than emotions. What next?  Armed with popular mandate, prime minster  can immediately resume the talks with creditors more confidently and on his own terms. Earlier, his position stood weakened and he had no option for "muscle flexing". Undoubtedly, its not that easy to make European leaders  to agree to a new bailout but as Germany  and some more countries have shown 'flexibility', Tsipras can hope for better. Greece would now, certainly, like to end up defaulting to ECB though the latter will continue to freeze the emergency funding to Greek banks. Despite prime minster hope of  staying put in Eurozone, the Greece's exit appears imminent. European Central Bank's [ECB] decision to freeze emergency lending to Greek banks a week ago is causing a humanitarian disaster. Because even encumbered by savage restrictions on cash transfers and withdrawals, Greek banks are just days away from running out of cash and collapsing. In those circumstances, not only would millions of Greeks lose their savings, but companies would collapse. And Greece would run out of vital imported food, raw materials and medicine. Greek banks are desperately in need of a lender of last resort to save them, and the Greek economy. As of today, there could be three scenarios are: Grexit after attempted eurozone negotiations fall apart, Greek banks may collapse leading either to eurozone rescue deal or to Grexit and lastly Greek mandate persuades eurozone leaders to agree to revised deal. Greeks hope, last scenario comes true.

The Prime
Thousands of Greeks celebrated in the streets after the vote, but European officials warned that it could see Greece ejected from the eurozone.
On Monday morning, Greece's finance minister said he was stepping down.
Yanis Varoufakis wrote on his website that he had been "made aware of a certain preference by some eurogroup participants, and assorted 'partners', for my… 'absence' from its meetings".
Latest updates
The prime minister had judged this to be "potentially helpful to him in reaching an agreement", he added.
Mr Varoufakis repeatedly clashed with creditors in negotiations over the past months.
Meanwhile, the euro fell across the board in Asian markets.
'No blackmail'
Greece's governing Syriza party had campaigned for a "No", saying that the bailout terms were humiliating.
Mr Tsipras said late on Sunday that the Greeks had proved that "democracy won't be blackmailed."
Speaking in a televised address, he said: "Given the unfavourable conditions last week, you have made a very brave choice.''
"But I am aware that the mandate you gave me is not a mandate for rupture.''

Lesson From Greece: Emergence of New Economic Terrorism

Is Greece's creditors  indulging in act of terrorism,?  Greece Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis has accused the "Troika"- International Monetary Fund, European  Union and European Central Bank- of "terrorism". The accusations may  have come out frustration   after "Troika" refusal to extend credit line but there is an iota of truth.

The term economic terrorism is strictly defined to indicate an attempt at economic destabilization by a group. And IMF, EU and ECB exactly fit into this.  More precisely, in 2005 the Geneva Centre for Security Policy defined economic terrorism in the following terms: "Contrary to "economic warfare" which is undertaken by states against other states, "economic terrorism" would be undertaken by transnational or non-state actors. This could entail varied, coordinated and sophisticated or massive destabilizing actions in order to disrupt the economic and financial stability of a state, a group of states or a society (such as market oriented western societies) for ideological or religious motives.

These actions, if undertaken, may be violent or not. They could have either immediate effects or carry psychological effects which in turn have economic consequences. The act of economic terrorism  may not involve physical attacks but  the attempts to destabilize the very economic fabric of a nation is more lethal than the physical attacks.  This is what capitalists run IMF , EU and ECB have done to Greece.

There is hardly any doubt that the so called reforms as called by the "Troika" would have done more harm to already sinking economy. The problem with the modern days "Welfare States" are overspending. And Greece is no exception to this. Even. US, UK, Germany  are all ridden with overspending.  Critics of the  Greece government have also complained the very technical bailout question was unintelligible.

The Greek government-debt crisis started in late 2009, as the first of four sovereign debt crises in the eurozone – later referred to collectively as the European debt crisis. The  root cause for its eruption was a combination of structural weaknesses in the Greek economy along with a decade-long pre-existence of overly high structural deficits and debt-to-GDP levels of public accounts. In late 2009, fears of a sovereign debt crisis developed among investors concerning Greece's ability to meet its debt obligations, due to the revelation that previous data on government debt levels and deficits had been misreported by the Greek government.

This led to a crisis of confidence, indicated by a widening of bond yield spreads and the cost of risk insurance on credit default swaps compared to the other Eurozone countries – Germany in particular. In 2012, Greece's government had the largest sovereign debt default in history. Greece became the first developed country to fail to make an IMF €1.6 billion loan repayment on June 30, 2015.

Those are the basics all Wise Folk agree on. Then those on the right go on to say feckless Greece must either accept Europe’s deal or get out of the single currency. Or if more liberal, they hem and haw, cough and splutter, before calling for Europe to show a little more charity to its southern basketcase. Whatever their solution, the Wise Folk agree on the problem: it’s not Brussels that’s at fault, it’s Athens. Oh, those turbulent Greeks! That’s the attitude you smell when the IMF’s Christine Lagarde decries the Syriza government for not being “adult” enough. That’s what licenses the German press to portray Greece’s finance minister, Yanis Varoufakis, as needing “psychiatric help”.

The moral of  this story is that Athens is merely the worst outbreak of a much bigger disease within the euro project. Because the single currency isn’t working for ordinary Europeans, from the Ruhr valley to Rome.

Life After Default: Malaysian Tips For Insolvent Greece

Here are some interesting tips for crisi-ridden Greece. As the countr has run out of money and other essential items, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras may find some solace. This piece was written by Andy Mukherjee For Reuters. It is produced below as it is:

As he prepares for a referendum that could determine Greece’s future in the euro zone, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras could seek some inspiration from Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia’s leader during the 1998 financial crisis. Breakingviews imagines a conversation between the two.

AT: Good afternoon Dr Mahathir. Thank you for taking my call.

MM: It’s good to hear from you Mr. Tsipras. Allow me to congratulate you on your brinksmanship. You’ve surely outdone me, but I’m a little scared you have gone too far.

AT: Have no fears. The Germans will fall into line after the Greek people reject the creditors’ preposterous offer on Sunday.

MM: If that’s the case, then why are you calling?

AT: Nobel laureates like Paul Krugman and Joseph Stiglitz keep telling me Greece would be better off quitting the single currency and returning to the drachma. You were in a similar boat in 1998, when you pegged your currency after a steep devaluation and rejected the International Monetary Fund. What’s your advice?

MM: Well, I wouldn’t start from here. Though we suffered a recession it was nothing like the 26 percent drop in GDP that your country has endured in the last seven years. Besides, our external debt was 49 percent of GDP in 1998; yours is almost five times as large. It was relatively easy for me to reject the IMF’s advice because we didn’t need their money.

AT: Is it the situation hopeless for Greece?

MM: Not entirely. Your current account has swung into surplus. If you stop paying off your international debt, you could thumb your nose at foreign creditors and run a self-sufficient economy on drachmas.

AT: What should we do with the new currency?

MM: Fix it at a low rate against the euro. I imposed capital controls after all the money that wanted to leave Malaysia had already fled. Then I pegged the currency against the U.S. dollar, and we enjoyed an export boom.

AT: We don’t have much to export, but we do have tourism.

MM: Yes, and it’s your golden goose. Your creditors initially wanted to slap a 23 percent value-added tax on hotels. That was too much for tourists paying in euros. But they’ll hardly notice when they’re settling the bill in devalued drachmas. Besides, you’ll need money to fix the banks.

AT: Do we have to? We’ve managed to ignore the problem for five years.

MM: True, but only with the help of the European Central Bank. Besides, the last time I checked, Greek banks were closed. We realised that recapitalising Malaysian banks would cost 12 percent of GDP, and made the money available swiftly. Did I bail out some cronies in the process? You’ll have to ask my enemies.

AT: This is all very helpful. What about fiscal policy?

MM: It should be expansionary. You have had creditors breathing down your neck, demanding large primary surpluses in a shrinking economy. My Finance Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, had turned equally austere. He went into 1998 targeting a fiscal surplus. That’s the kind of lunacy IMF used to preach in those days.

AT: Wait until you meet Wolfgang Schaeuble.

MM: I take no pleasure in your misery. But like yours, our economy needed stimulus, not pain. So I sacked Anwar, and started running big budget deficits. I dropped the capital controls, and creditors returned. Today, foreigners own 29 percent of our sovereign debt.

AT: Hang on, didn’t you send your finance minister to jail?

MM: I did, and I don’t regret it. Dissent at that crucial time could have been costly. I don’t think you need to lock up Yanis Varoufakis. Though it would be interesting to see how he copes with a “prisoners’ dilemma” in real life.

AT: Thank you very much for your time Dr Mahathir. Is there anything you want to ask me?

MM: Just one question. What exchange rate did you have in mind for the new drachma? I’ve always fancied owning a small Greek island.

AT: Let’s see what happens on Sunday first.

MM: Yes, it’s important to respect the democratic process.

We Indian are Still "Gulam", Not the Civilized One

Its almost seven decades that India has been free from the colonial rule, yet we are still inwardly  'gulam' (subservient)  if not outwardly. We still feel 'Gora' or fair-complexioned race is smarter and more intelligent than us. We pride ourselves in working abroad even if the job is menial. The 'foreign return' stamp makes one superior  even than domestic high-raking employment.  Despite living in internet age,  the erstwhile princely rulers are  ordained,  revered and people stand in long queues to have a glimpse of them. In some ares, Raja, Maharajas are even worshiped.  Ministers and babus (public servants) are  called "saheb" and can't be easily accessed to. The criminals, law-breakers and ruffians become law-makers. Women, girls are raped  and killed for dowry. Daughters are killed for honour. Urinating in public, spiting on public places and street littering go on unabated. We take pride in  damaging public property and stealing it for our personal use. Honestly speaking, we are not a civilized people and lacks courage to resist.  And as Rohinton Mistry quote "Money can buy the necessary police order . Justice is sold to the highest bidder”, aptly practiced in India.  Given this state of affairs, it is not amusing to read that union govt run Air India offloaded three passengers including a child to accommodate one union minister and another state deputy chief minister. It is also not shocking to find that US bound AIR India flight from Mumbai was delayed for over two hours as a VIP (IAS officer) passenger  attached to Maharashtra chief minister forget to carry his visa. It is also not surprising that DMK leader MK Stalin slapped a man in Chennai metro and there was hardly any resistance from fellow passengers. We deserve all this  because we are coward. Tolerating an injustice even passively is as serious a crime as committing it. The act of cowardice kills man's self-confidence. And  remember "those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”  There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of the law. We need to rise .

A Lesson or Two For Countries From Greece Crisis

World, particularly the developing countries need to learn a lesson from Greece crisis. Even Country's rich history, abundance of archeological sites, azure skies, and crystalline seas could't save it from bankruptcy.

Given the acute financial crisis,  what strike to our  mind is what should policymakers have done differently to save country from present crisis?

Undoubtedly, the critical policy mistakes are responsible for the present crisis. It was clear in the first half of 2010, when Greece lost access to financial markets, that the public debt was unsustainable. And unmistakenly, the Greece's sovereign debt should have been restructured without delay.

At the Ouset, Greece quickly needed to write off its debt burden as much as it could do. By 2012, its debt ratio to its GDP was as high as 146 percent.  Had this been done, it would have been able to shed its crushing debt overhang. It could have used a portion of the interest savings to recapitalise the banks. It could have cut taxes, rather than raising them. It could have leap-frogged investment to get its economy moving again.

International Monetary Fund agrees that debt restructuring should have been undertaken earlier. But this was not its view at the time. Under the leadership of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the Fund was in thrall to the French and German governments, which adamantly opposed debt relief.

But, instead of working with its social partners, Greece relied on IMF, European Commission and ECB, referred to as troika's advice, dismantled the country's collective-bargaining system, leaving workers unrepresented. It  thus lacked a mechanism to negotiate a social compact to cut wages, pensions, and other obligations in an equitable way.

With every vested interest fighting for itself, closed professions proved impossible to pry open. Doubting that there would be shared sacrifice, those same interest groups were unable to negotiate meaningful tax reform.

It is important that other countries draw the right lessons. If they do, Greece's brave, beleaguered citizens can at least take comfort in knowing that many people elsewhere will be spared the same unnecessary sacrifices.

There is also the intense pressure under which Greek society is now functioning – and the extraordinary courage with which ordinary citizens are coping with economic disaster. Brave people.

No Law For VVIPS in India, They Are Sacrosanct

There are two set of law in India. Harsh laws for Common Man and no law for VVIPs and political leaders. Honestly speaking. Indian VVIPs are above law and in fact. sacrosanct. Take the case of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Vadra Gandhi land deal in Himachal. She was given permission to buy land twice- in 2007 by Congress govt and in 2011 by BJP govt headed by Prem Kumar Dhumal - despite state revenue law prohibiting any land purchase by an outsider. Long ago, an amendment called 118 was inserted in state land and tenancy law , ostensibly, to prevent  large-scale land deals by outsider making local landless. The low farm output in Himachal  makes land less attractive for farming. though  some high altitude areas are remunerative  for apple cultivation. The land in low areas is found  more suitable either to cultivate forest farming or develop tourist spots. Before the law 118  was enacted , non-state residents were free to buy land in Himachal and inclusive tourism potential districts like Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kullu-Manali, Chamba and Kangra attracted a heavy rush of  land buyers from outside. The demographic character of Himachal Pradesh is, somewhat, similar to neighbor Jammu & Kashmir and any major change in this could affect the local settlement. Outsiders are not allowed to settle in Jammu & Kashmir for fear of being outnumbering locals. The same situation  was feared developing in Himachal if locals continued to sell their land to outsiders. It was then the incumbent chief minister Virbhadra Singh who piloted the amendment to prevent large-scale shifting of land to outsider. The idea was to protect poor local landholders from land-sharks. Under the law, outsider could buy land in Himachal with the permission of the govt. This provision has made mockery of the law. As is the won't of  ruling class and the "corrupt" babus, those having money and politiucal power were given permission to buy land at will. The very idea has been defeated as the big land deals continued to take place. Having regard to the prime motive behind the law. permission to outsider land purchase should have been totally banned, except for bonafide purposes like setting up industries and educational institutes. Even for this purpose, a land pool could be created as to facilitate the bonafide requirements. But then, how could ruling class oblige VVIPs and those in power for whom no law applies. The Priyanka Vadra land deal case is the one that shows how our politicians are undermining the very edifice they are administered to protect.
